Package on Offer:

• Full-time permanent position
• Salary $100,000 - $120,000 + super (dependent on experience)
• Phone and IT provided

About the role: 

Be part of delivering a broad range of built form projects from spec and custom homes, to townhouse projects throughout Townsville.

You will be tasked with preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for our upcoming residential builds and new development projects. This is an opportunity for an experienced and skilled professional with a track record in the building and construction industry to further their career.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for residential builds
• Conduct project take-offs and accurately assess material and labour costs
• Monitoring and maintaining costing databases
• Reviewing costs against quotations and budgets and participating in budget review meetings 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a similar estimating role within the residential construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and costing.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in systems development and documentation and following and interpreting project drawings
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Good software/IT skills and highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload
