M Civil is the civil construction division of Maidment Group, and is responsible for the planning, delivery and maintenance of our residential subdivisions.

This is a full-time position responsible for helping to lay pipes and infrastructure for our civil engineering projects. You will be working as part of a dedicated team to ensure efficient and high-quality pipe installation to support Maidment Group's delivery of residential subdivisions across Townsville.

The Role:

• Lay stormwater, sewer, and water mains to correct grade and spec
• Trench digging, pipe placement, compaction, and backfilling
• Reading site plans and using lasers to set levels
• Working safely alongside machines and other crew members
• Contributing to a productive, respectful work site

What We’re Looking For:

• Pipe laying or civil construction experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans & technical specifications
• Construction White Card (essential)
• Valid driver's licence (machine tickets a bonus)
• Strong work ethic, good communication & a safety-first mindset
• A team player who’s reliable and ready to get stuck in
