About the role
Maidment Group is looking for an accounts administrator to join our expanding team. Much more than an admin role, this position plays an important part in ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations within the office.
Working within our friendly and dynamic administration team the successful applicant will enjoy a role that offers variety, interesting and challenging work, across a range of commercial disciplines. This role will be supporting the Group's daily activities and growth of the business.
This is a part time position offering flexible hours per week including the option of school hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and Accounts receivable processing
- Accounts data entry into Xero and BuilderTrend
- Daily and Monthly reconciliations
- Maintaining Job Costing processes in BuilderTrend
- Construction Claims
- Timesheet processing
- General office administration, including administrative support for the management team
Skills/Experience Required
- Proven knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping, data, and administrative processes
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software advantageous but not essential
- Experience with BuilderTrend software advantageous but not essential
- A positive and proactive attitude towards all tasks required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work towards deadlines, including excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, professional integrity and be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- An eye for detail is a must.
