UDIA visit to New Zealand

The 2018 International Tour of Excellence held by Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) hosted Glen Maidment, and many other delegates in New Zealand in October this year to explore development innovation up close.
Delegates explored transformed paddocks to sustainable communities, masterplanned communities on ex-air force bases, and regeneration projects that provide affordable living and uber sustainable homes for thousands of residents, and an increase of employment opportunities to the North Island.
The tour also took delegates to Christchurch focusing on key inner city projects that form a major part of its recovery after the earthquakes.
