The hugely anticipated Disc Golf Course is in the thick of construction, with irrigation being installed along the course.
This will be the region's first Disc Golf course consisting of 18 holes over 18 hectares located along the banks of the Bohle River.
When complete, Harris Crossing residents, and the Townsville community will be able to use the family friendly course for free. The sport is for all ages, and you can head to the Harris Crossing Display Village to give it a go. Two baskets (holes) are set up in the pocket park in the Display Village, so grab a disc, or borrow one from the Harris Crossing land sales office and come and try...
Disc Golf is played with similar rules to traditional golf, but instead of a club & ball, players throw a disc from a tee pad into an elevated basket to complete each hole. The aim is to complete the hole in the least number of throws possible.
